The workshop is part of Conserva Aves' initiatives for <\/span>to reinforce the knowledge and commitment of communities to the conservation of their environments<\/i><\/b>. The main objective was to <\/span>educate participants on the importance of the re-declaration of the Milpuj ACP and provide them with tools to address and prevent wildfires<\/i><\/b>, promoting better governance in fire management.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The activity involved local educational institutions and included the participation of young people from the C\u00e9sar Vallejo Educational Institution of La Magdalena, who walked along ecological trails and became familiar with the flora and fauna of the ACP. These workshops not only benefited the students, but also <\/span>strengthened the link with the communities of Nogalcucho and Quimbaleran, increasing their awareness of environmental risks and threats in their territory.<\/i><\/b> The initiative was attended by students, teachers and community members, who received training on fire prevention, its causes and consequences, and sustainable fire management practices.<\/span><\/p>\n

In a context where forest fires are affecting more and more natural areas, it is essential that communities are aware of the importance of forest fire prevention.<\/span>The company's employees are trained to recognize and act on risks.<\/i><\/b> This workshop took place in a region vulnerable to such incidents, helping participants to <\/span>understand the impact of fires on their environment and the importance of a prevention strategy<\/i><\/b>. The issues of governance and phenological calendar, addressed with the community members, strengthen community management in the face of this type of threat.<\/span><\/p>\n

This workshop at the ACP Milpuj is only <\/span>one of several activities that Conserva Aves and RED AMA plan to carry out to consolidate the conservation and sustainability of this natural area.<\/i><\/b> Through periodic trainings, Conserva Aves seeks not only to raise awareness in the communities about environmental risks and improved fire management practices, but also to <\/span>empowering them to take an active role in the protection of their environment<\/i><\/b>. Implementing local governance practices in fire management and building a culture of prevention. <\/span>will allow these communities to sustainably manage their natural resources over the long term, strengthening their ties with the environment and ensuring the preservation of this valuable area for future generations.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n
