\n<\/b>In each of these regions, the workshops were attended by key regional stakeholders, including companies and producer organizations and representatives of regional governments, municipalities, the National Forestry Service (Serfor) and the National Service of Natural Protected Areas (Sernanp), among others.<\/span>

These presentations highlighted the relevance of the initiative to promote business projects that contribute to the mitigation of carbon emissions through the conservation and restoration of forests, in a context of growing concern about deforestation and degradation in the Amazon. In addition, detailed information was provided on how to apply for the competition, allowing participants to resolve doubts and identify how to strengthen their proposals.<\/span><\/p>\n

Benefits of the contest<\/b><\/p>\n

The Amazon Bioinvestment competition will provide partially reimbursable seed capital financing - with amounts that can reach up to US$$150,000, depending on the maturity of the biobusiness.<\/span><\/p>\n

The selected companies will also receive business advice to strengthen their business models, which will enable them to improve their management and access to financing to develop their products and services. In addition, the call for proposals Puerto Maldonado, Madre de Dios<\/span>
